What does a hypothesis driven approach look like?

Establishing an opinion
An academic paper is differentiated from a normal essay in that the author takes a position to prove their "hypothesis." The simplest way to develop a unique hypothesis is to consider strong opinions on topics that you are knowledgeable on. Once you have an opinion, you can thoughtfully consider why this opinion exists and what evidence you have collected in your life to form the opinion.
